MedPal AI moves from responsive AI to agentic AI, powered by Anthropic's latest Claude models and DigitalOcean
MedPal AI plc, the AI-native digital health and pharmacy group, is pleased to announce the launch of "Juno", its next-generation agentic AI health companion, alongside a full upgrade of the technology that powers it.
Juno represents a step change: from AI that answers when asked, to AI that works on the patient's behalf. Rather than waiting for a question, Juno proactively watches over a patient's health information through MedPal AI's New Health OS Portal and reaches out directly, by text over WhatsApp and the web.
As part of the upgrade, MedPal AI has migrated its entire AI stack away from Google Vertex AI to a new multi-layer architecture. Anthropic's latest Claude models now drive Juno's agentic reasoning and conversation, while clinical response layers run on dedicated DigitalOcean infrastructure. The result is a faster, more capable and more autonomous health agent.
The launch lands squarely in what the market has called the "OpenClaw moment": the shift, seen across consumer technology in 2026, to agentic assistants that understand natural text and voice and actively manage tasks for the user, rather than simply replying to prompts. Juno brings that same paradigm to healthcare.
Consumer demand for AI-led health support has reached record levels. OpenAI reports that more than 40 million people now turn to ChatGPT every day with health-related questions. But general-purpose chatbots stop at information: they can describe a problem; they cannot resolve it.
Juno is built to close that gap, and to close the loop. Trained by MedPal AI's own clinical services team, Juno provides advice and triage and, where clinically appropriate, connects the patient to one of MedPal AI's GPs, who can prescribe as appropriate. Medication is then dispensed through the Company's robotic dispensing infrastructure directly to the patient's door, with Juno following up to check on outcomes. The result is a single, continuous pathway from first question to resolved outcome. Put simply, New Health does not just tell you what the problem is, it helps to treat it.
