Placing to raise £400,000

 

Further to its announcement today of the acquisition of certain assets from Universal Pharmacy Ltd (in administration) which can be viewed here News article | London Stock Exchange, MedPal AI (AIM: MPAL), the digital health platform, is pleased to announce that it has completed a placing of new ordinary shares (the "Placing Shares") to raise £400,000 for the Company (the "Placing"). The Placing Shares are to be issued at 8p per share (the "Issue Price"), which represents a discount of approximately 5.9 per cent. to the mid-market closing price of an Ordinary Share on 30 September 2025 (being the latest practicable date prior to this announcement).

 

The proceeds of the Placing and of a WRAP Retail Offer, to be launched shortly by the Company and announced separately, will be used to progress the Company's strategy with regard to the recently announced acquisition of assets from Universal Pharmacy Ltd (in administration), which will enable MedPal AI to establish itself in the rapidly growing GLP-1 agonist market for obesity treatment, including drugs such as semaglutide (eg. Ozempic and Mounjaro).

 

For the avoidance of doubt, the Placing is not part of the WRAP Retail Offer by the Company.

 

The Placing is conditional on the Placing Shares being admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). It is anticipated that Admission will become effective and that dealings in the Placing Shares will commence on AIM at 8.00 a.m. on 8 October 2025.
