("Mercia", the "Company" or the "Group")

Direct investment portfolio cash receipts update

Mercia Asset Management PLC (AIM: MERC), the proactive, regionally focused
private asset manager with over £2.0billion of assets under management, notes
that the Group has received c.£1million of realisation proceeds in the last
six months, from three of the Group's former direct investments.

This comprises:

 Impression Technologies Ltd  £0.3million
 LM Technologies Ltd          £0.1million
 Fortis Frontier PLC          £0.6million
 Total                        £1.0million

 

Whilst these receipts are not material individually, collectively they do
represent positive cash inflow to Mercia and reflect the Group's focus on
realising value from the direct investment portfolio.

Mark Payton, CEO of Mercia Asset Management PLC, said: "These relatively small
cash receipts are nevertheless a welcome contribution to Mercia and reflect
our focus on taking every opportunity to convert even our smallest direct
investments into cash, when the opportunity arises."
