14.9% to A$0.270, their highest level since July 18
    ** Stock last up 12.8%, sees best day since Aug 31
    ** Diversified miner says metallurgical test confirmed high
potential rare-earth ores at onshore mine in Australia
    ** More than 9.3 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of ~7.0 mln shares
    ** Stock has risen 343.4% this year as of last close
