       March 21 (Reuters) - Australian mineral explorer
Meteoric Resources NL  MEI.AX  said on Thursday it has initiated
a non-binding letter of interest  for a potential funding round
of $250 million at its fully-owned Caldeira Rare Earth Ionic
Clay Project in Brazil.
    The company received the letter of interest from the United
States, Export-Import Bank, it said.
