Saudi Aramco announces the appointment of a board member
 
Saudi Aramco announces the appointment of Mr. Mark A. Weinberger to its Board of Directors as an independent Board member pursuant to Council of Ministers resolution Number 492 dated 7/8/1441H (corresponding to 31/3/2020G). The appointment is effective from the date hereof.
Mr. Weinberger replaces former Board member Mr. Andrew F. J. Gould and will serve Mr. Gould's remaining term with the Board, which will continue until such time that the Board is formed pursuant to the provisions of Saudi Aramco's Bylaws. 
Mr. Weinberger is the former global Chairman and CEO of EY (previously known as Ernst & Young). Mr. Weinberger has also held several high level posts in the public sector in the United States. Currently, Mr. Weinberger serves as a Director on the Boards of Johnson & Johnson and Metlife as well as a Member on several Boards of Trustees, including the United States Council for International Business (USCIB). He obtained a B.A. degree from Emory University (Economics) in 1983, an MBA and JD from Case Western Reserve University in 1987 and an LLM in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 1991.
