** Chip stocks gain premarket after U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday that Apple AAPL.O has agreed to work with Intel INTC.O to design and manufacture its chips in the United States
** Intel stock jumps 8.9%
** Nvidia NVDA.O up 1%, AMD AMD.O jumps 2.8%, Broadcom AVGO.O climbs 2.6%
** ARM Holdings ARM.O up 4.4%, Microchip MCHP.O gains 2.9%, Applied Material AMAT.O and Micron MU.O both up 4.5%
** Marvell Technology MRVL.O up 4.8%, Qualcomm QCOM.O adds 2.6%
** iShares semiconductor ETF SOXX.O up 3.4%, Vaneck semiconductor ETF SMH.O up 2.9%, Roundhill memory ETF DRAM.Z up 6.1%
