UK's Mila Resources soars on deal talks over its Australian gold project

** Shares of gold exploration company Mila Resources Plc
MILA.L rise as much as 37.5% to 1.1p - stock among top pct
gainers among all London-listed shares
** Co confirms it is in talks on its transaction for
Kathleen Valley Project in Western Australia relating to joint
venture
** Co had acquired 30% in Kathleen Valley Project on Nov. 31
after resolution of a long-running dispute regarding the project
due to native title restrictions
** However, co says this potential transaction is
subjected to further discussion and agreement with its partners,
citing uncertainty in its completion
** Stock set to post its best day since Nov 6, 2020, if
gains hold
** Including session's gain, stock has risen 29% YTD
