** Stock logs biggest intraday pct gain since April 10

** MIN top performer on the ASX 200 benchmark

** Diversified miner says process to appoint new board chair well advanced

** Says cost reduction initiatives continue, with about 1,740 roles cut across operations since the start of FY25

** Posts lower quarterly production volumes of 62 million tonnes (Mt), down 6 Mt q/q
