** Shares of Australia's Uvre  UVA.AX  rise as much as 20.8%
to A$0.145, set to climb most since Sept. 9, if gains hold
    ** Mineral explorer says it has begun mapping and sampling
at a recently identified uranium anomaly at its East Canyon
Uranium Vanadium Project in Utah, U.S.
    ** Stock hits highest level since Oct. 5 
    ** About 137,648 shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 61,085 
    ** Stock down 7.7% YTD, based on last close
