Australia's Uvre jumps, set to complete acquisition of NZ gold project

** Shares of Uvre Ltd UVA.AX rises as much as 22.7% to A$0.135, its highest level since early February 2024

** Extends gain for third straight session, gaining more than 51% in this period

** Gold explorer says its set to complete the acquisition of gold assets in Waitekauri gold project in New Zealand this week, after initial tests showed strong potential

** Shareholders also approved UVA's NZ$4 million ($2.44 million) equity fundraise at 8 NZ cents per share

** Over 1.5 million shares change hands, its busiest session since early February last year
