June 4 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Thursday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.51%.
* EASYJET: Castlelake is looking at MSC, the world's largest shipping group, as a partner in a consortium for a potential takeover bid on easyJet EZJ.L, Italian daily Corriere della Sera reported.
* S4 CAPITAL: S4 Capital SFOR.L said it expects full-year like-for-like net revenue to be within analyst forecasts, even as market conditions in the first five months remained challenging.
* CMC MARKETS: CMC Markets CMCX.L reported annual pretax profit below market expectations, weighed down by a remediation charge incurred in Australia, following an industry-wide regulatory review.
* SHELL: Creditors of Raizen RAIZ4.SA, a joint venture between Shell SHEL.L and Cosan CSAN3.SA, began evaluating the company's final proposal for an out-of-court restructuring agreement to cover approximately 65 billion reais ($12.8 billion) in debt.
* PERSHING SQUARE: Pershing Square PSHP.L is looking to sell its stake in Universal Music Group UMG.AS , Bloomberg News reported.
* CAR REGISTRATIONS: Britain recorded its strongest May for new car registrations since 2019, with sales rising about 7% year-on-year on resilient private buyer demand, according to Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.
* PRICE-GOUGING: The Confederation of British Industry called on Britain's government not to treat business as a cash cow or accuse companies of price-gouging as the country expects to struggle with a cost-of-living shock triggered by the Iran war.
* DRUG-COST WATCHDOG: The UK cost-effectiveness watchdog recommended AbbVie's ABBV.N "guided missile" cancer therapy, Elahere, for patients with a hard-to-treat form of ovarian cancer.
* COMMODITIES: Oil prices fell on Thursday, while gold prices gained, and copper slipped.
* EX-DIVS: Vodafone Group VOD.L, Sage Group SGE.L, Marks & Spencer Group MKS.L, and J Sainsbury SBRY.L will trade without entitlement to its latest dividend pay-out on Thursday.
