Russia's Sakhalin-2 restarts LNG exports after maintenance, data shows MOSCOW, July 21 (Reuters) - The Asia-oriented Sakhalin 2 plant resumed liquefied natural gas output and exports after planned maintenance, according to LSEG ship-tracking data.
It showed that gas carrier Pacific Arcadia was loaded at the Prigorodnoye terminal on Tuesday and set sail for Japan.
Supplies were halted on June 17 for the planned maintenance.
Russian state gas company Gazprom GAZP.MM is a controlling shareholder in the Sakhalin-2 oil and gas project, in which Japanese trading houses Mitsui 8031.T and Mitsubishi 8058.T also hold stakes.
In 2025, the project exported around 10.3 million metric tons of the supercooled gas.
