NEW DELHI, May 24 (Reuters) - Japan's Mitsubishi
Chemical 4188.T shut a naphtha cracker at its Ibaraki plant,
renamed from Kashima, on May 7 for maintenance, a company
spokesperson said on Friday.
The maintenance at the cracker, which has capacity of
539,000 metric tons per year, is expected to continue until June
26, the spokesperson said, adding that the company plans to
restart the cracker on June 27.
