** Shares of mining group MMG Ltd 1208.HK jump as much as 7.2% to HK$3.87, on track for third straight session of gains

** Top pct gainer on Hong Kong's material index .HSCIM, which is down 0.7%

** MMG expects net PAT of $340 mln for half-year ended June 2025, vs $21 mln during the same period last year

** Attributes PAT hike to increased production and lower unit production cost at Las Bambas, and higher commodity prices, including copper, gold, and silver

** Hang Seng Index .HSI climbs 0.2%

** YTD, stock up 44.5%
