MMG hits over 26-year peak on strong growth in 2025 copper production

** Shares of copper miner MMG Ltd 1208.HK jump 11.5% to HK$10.49, their highest level since December 1999

** Stock set for biggest one-day pct rise since December 1; top pct gainer in the Hang Seng Composite Index tracking materials stock .HSCIM, which is up 2.3%

** MMG says its total copper production rose 28% y/y to 454,108 metric tons in 2025, gold production jumped 22% to 118,118 ounces, and silver up 17% to 10.56 mln ounces

** Of this, copper production from Las Bambas surged 27% y/y to 410,834 tons in 2025, gold output up 35% at 85,604 ounces and silver up 33% at 5.26 mln ounces - co

** Las Bambas is targeting 400,000 tons of copper production this year, with a guided range of 380,000–400,000 tons - co
     ** YTD, stock up 19.4%, benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI up 4.6%
