Czech central bank ready to lower countercyclical buffer if risks drop further
PRAGUE, Sept 15 (Reuters) - The Czech National Bank is
ready to lower the countercyclical capital buffer rate gradually
further if cyclical risks continue to disappear naturally from
the banking sector’s balance sheets, it said on Friday.
The bank on Thursday decided to reduce the buffer rate for a
second quarter in a row. On Friday, it said it did not expect
the rate to increase over the next 12 months.
