** Shares of Mont Royal Resources  MRZ.AX  rise as much as
2.56% to A$0.2, highest since July 31 
    ** Gold and copper miner says raised A$2.2 million ($1.5
million) to advance James Bay Lithium Exploration Strategy
    ** Commitments to raise capital provided via a share
placement to institutional and sophisticated investors at $0.16
per share - Mont Royal 
    ** Adds, proceeds from placement to enable firm to commence
a helicopter-supported lithium prospecting program 
    ** Stock has risen over 11% this year, as of last close
