AGM Trading Update

 

Motorpoint Group PLC, the UK's leading independent omnichannel vehicle
retailer, will make the following statement at the Company's Annual General
Meeting, to be held at 14:00 BST today, which is an update on trading for the
first quarter ("Q1") of the financial year ending 31 March 2026 ("FY26"):

"The Board is pleased to report that the positive momentum, as outlined in the
Final Results on 12 June 2025, has continued. Retail volume sales in Q1 grew
10.6% on the equivalent period in FY25. Stock levels improved as our data led
approach supported an increase in vehicle buying activity, and metal margin
performance continues to be strong. The Board remains confident that the Group
will achieve its expectations for the full year.

Good progress continues to be made on the share buyback programme which was
announced in early April 2025. Approximately 1.9m of the planned 3.0m shares
have been bought back and cancelled at a cash cost of £3.0m."

 

Motorpoint will provide an update on trading for the six months ending 30
September 2025 in October 2025.
