Australia's MRG Metals rises most in a month on Mozambique licenses application

** Shares of exploration company MRG Metals Ltd  MRQ.AX 
rise as much as 20% to A$0.009, their highest since May 5
    ** Says three exploration licence applications made in
Zambezia Province of Mozambique for rare earth elements (REE)

    ** Project to explore REE, Uranium targets within Mozambique
Metamorphic Province and adjacent sedimentary sequences of the
Mozambique Basin sediments
    ** Co says to be ready to commence exploration on new
licenses when they are granted
    ** Stock posts its biggest intraday pct gain since April 1
    ** 8.4 mln shares change hands, compared with the 30-day
average volume of 7.2 mln shares 
    ** Stock has fallen 21.1% this year, as of last close
