Resonant more than triples on buyout by Japan's Murata

    ** RESN late Mon agreed to be acquired by Murata Electronics
North America, wholly owned subsidiary of Japan's Murata

    ** Under deal terms, Murata, which makes key components used
in smartphones, computers and cars, will acquire all outstanding
shares of RESN it doesn't already own
    ** RESN's stock on Mon closed at $1.23 for market cap of
roughly $80 mln, per Refinitiv data. Shares have fallen 81% over
the past year
    ** Transaction has been approved by boards of both cos, and
is expected to close by end of Mar
