Table: German power plants to jump in if Russian gas dries up

FRANKFURT, May 24 (Reuters) - Germany is making plans to
utilise power stations due to be edled this year or next as
standby capacity in case of disruption to gas supplies from

    The following plants, most of which are coal-fired, are
under consideration and could be affected:
