Australia's Narryer Metals hits 8-mth high on lithium portfolio buy

** Shares of Narryer Metals  NYM.AX  soar as much as 62.5%
to A$0.195, their highest level since November 2022
    ** The mineral explorer announces acquisition of lithium
portfolio in Canada
    ** Says entered into a binding agreement to acquire KAV
Resources Pty Ltd, which holds the lithium projects, for 5 mln
shares of NYM, among others
    ** NYM currently up 16.7% to A$0.14 as of 0418 GMT
    ** More than 3.3 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of about 94,000 shares
    ** Stock has fallen 20% this year, as of last close
