** Shares of Pharmaust  PAA.AX  rise as much as 7.5% to
A$0.100, hitting their highest level since July 11
    ** Stock set for best day since Nov 17, if gains hold
    ** The pharmaceuticals co says all patients have completed
the Phase 1 MEND Study of monepantel to treat motor neurone
disease
    ** Co adds it has applied for an Orphan Drug Designation
with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration
    ** More than 618,930 shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 282,829 shares
    ** Stock up 45.3% this year, as of last close
