** Shares of Castillo Copper CCZ.AX rise as much as 60% to
A$0.008, their highest level since Dec 15, 2023
** Stock on track for best day since March 19, if gains hold
** The specialty miner says it will undertake a soil
sampling campaign and advancement at onshore copper mine in
Queensland
** Co says board decided to prioritise advancement of
onshore copper project and seek development partners for
remaining assets in New South Wales and Zambia
** Around 8.6 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 667,313 shares
** Castillo stock has fallen 16.7% this year, as of last
close
