** Rupert Murdoch and his son Lachlan are contemplating a recombination of Fox Corp FOXA.O and News Corp NWSA.O, uniting a TV company with a widespread news operation and cementing the family's control over a dwindling empire, court documents and video show.

** Gas producer Energean ENOG.L is in exclusive talks to buy some of BP's BP.L upstream oil and gas assets in Egypt, two people involved in the process told Reuters.

** France's BNP Paribas BNPP.PA and South Korea's KB Kookmin Bank are in separate talks to acquire at least a 15% stake in Vietnam's Techcombank TCB.HM as strategic investors, two sources said, athough BNP subsequently said it has no plans to acquire an equity stake in the lender.

** Swedish miner Boliden BOL.ST said it had agreed to acquire all of Brazilian group Votorantim's shares in zinc and silver producer Nexa Resources NEXA.N, giving it a 64.68% stake, and will bid for the rest of the company.

** Nvidia NVDA.O has agreed to buy Hugging Face, a repository of open-source AI models, for $12.9 billion, The Information reported on Wednesday, citing a person with knowledge of the deal.

** Victory Capital VCTR.O said on Wednesday it will acquire privately held First Eagle Investments from buyout firm Genstar Capital in a cash-and-stock deal valued at about $7 billion, as it moves closer to its target of managing $1 trillion in assets.
