Brief: Nexans fined 3 million euros by France's Autorite de la Concurrence anti-trust watchdog

April 2 (Reuters) - FRENCH ANTI-TRUST WATCHDOG/NEXANS/SONEPAR:

France's Autorite de la Concurrence anti-trust watchdog said it had fined Nexans NEXS.PA and Sonepar over colluding to grant exclusive import rights for Nexans electrical cables in all overseas departments and regions.

It imposed a fine of 3 million euros ($3.5 million) on Nexans, and a fine of 3.5 million euros on Sonepar.

($1 = 0.8678 euros)
