Australia's Nexus Minerals rises on spodumene find at Victoria project

** Shares of Nexus Minerals  NXM.AX  jump as much as 15.4%
to A$0.06, their biggest intraday pct gain since Aug. 2
    ** Co confirms spodumene dominant lithium bearing mineral at
the Merrimac LCT project in Victoria
    ** More than 3.1 mln shares have changed hands, compared
with the 30-day average of about 480,000 shares 
    ** Stock down ~73.7% so far this year, as of last close
