Australia's Nick Scali hits record high on full-year profit beat

** Shares of Nick Scali Ltd NCK.AX rise as much as 10.2% to A$21.14, their highest level on record

** Stock set for best session since April 26, 2024, if gains hold

** The furniture retailer logs FY25 UNPAT of A$62 million  ($40.41 million), around 1% ahead of VA consensus, according to Jefferies analysts

** Co declared dividend of 33 AU cents above market consensus, Jefferies says

** Annual growth margin in Australia, New Zealand segments, of 65%, also beat VA consensus by around 20 bps, while UK gross margin was ~80 bps above VA consensus as per Jefferies

** Co expects higher sales revenue in Q1 FY26

** Around 363,905 shares change hands, compared with the 30-day avg trading volume of about 250,625

** YTD, stock up 38.9%
