Nikola falls on $160 mln senior convertible note offering

** Shares of electric truck maker Nikola  NKLA.O  fall 7.1%
to $7.55
    ** Nikola enters agreement to sell up to $160 mln of senior
convertible notes, expects to complete initial closing for sale
of $80 mln worth of notes on Aug. 19
    ** Company terminates another agreement signed in August
2023 to sell up to $325 mln in senior convertible notes
    ** Up to previous close, stock had fallen ~69% this year
