Aussie Nordic Nickel up on selection for BHP Xplor Program

** Shares of Australia's Nordic Nickel Ltd  NNL.AX  rise as
much as 11.1% to A$0.300, hitting their highest since Aug.29,
2022 
    ** Stock set to mark best day since Jan.6, if gains hold  
    ** Mineral explorer says it has been selected to participate
in the inaugural BHP Xplor Program
    ** Says under program, BHP  BHP.AX  will assist co to
advance its exploration plans at flagship Pulju Nickel Project
in northern Finland
    ** Adds, BHP will provide Nordic with US$500,000 in non
dilutive funding to support and accelerate co's exploration
plans
    ** NNL has risen 35% this year, as of last close
