** Shares of European semiconductor companies rise after AMD AMD.O announces a major chip supply deal with OpenAI
** STOXX Europe Technology index .SX8P up 1%
** "Obviously, the OpenAI with AMD news is important, but its also sentiment which has been positive now for about two weeks, and this is another positive sentiment one," Marc Hesselink at ING FM says

So the market is suspecting that AMD AI chip volumes will increase given the deal with OpenAI, which will lead to TSMC needing to purchase more BESI hybrid bonders," Trion Reid at Berenberg says
** Siltronic WAFGn.DE and BESI BESI.AS jump 9.3% and 13.8%, respectively
** ASML ASML.AS and ASMI ASMI.AS are up 2.1% and 2.6%, respectively
