** Gold stocks rise as bullion prices gain, supported by a pause in the US Treasury yield's rally and a weaker dollar GOL/
** Gold miners Evolution Mining EVN.AX and Northern Star Resources NST.AX jump 2% and 3.5%, respectively 
** YTD, AXGD down more than 2%
