April 10 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Friday:

** Glencore  said it acquired a 45% stake in an aluminium recycling and remelting plant near Charleston, South Carolina, strengthening the miner's position in the U.S. aluminium supply chain.

** Italy's Eni  has agreed to acquire a minority stake in natural graphite producer Nouveau Monde Graphite  for $70 million, giving it access to a critical material used in battery storage and other energy transition technologies.

** Artificial intelligence companies Cohere of Canada and Aleph Alpha of Germany are in talks to merge and have Berlin's support for a potential deal, newspaper Handelsblatt reported late on Thursday.

** Heineken has sold its stake in Bralima, its brewing subsidiary in Democratic Republic of Congo, ending decades of direct ownership in a market where conflict had severely disrupted its business.

** Japan's Daiwa Securities Group has agreed to take full control of its China joint venture in a 706 million yuan ($103.36 million) deal, the latest move by a foreign financial firm to boost its presence in China, official filings showed.
