NWF Group plc: Appointment of Non-Executive Director
NWF Group plc ("NWF" or the "Group"), the specialist distributor of fuel, feed and food across the UK, announces the appointment of Richard James Armitage, as Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 July 2020. In addition, Richard will assume the role of Chair of the Audit Committee following the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting of the Group.
 
Richard Armitage, FCMA, aged 54, has wide experience in CFO/Finance Director roles across a number of industry sectors worldwide. Richard is currently CFO at Victrex plc, a FTSE 250 company with revenues of c.£300 million employing c.1,000 people in the UK and internationally. Prior to joining Victrex in April 2018, Richard was Group Finance Director of Samworth Brothers, a UK based branded and own-label food manufacturer. Richard has also held senior financial roles at McBride plc where he was CFO, Premier Foods plc's Grocery and Chilled Divisions, and at Courtaulds, ICI and Boots plc. Richard trained through the Courtaulds and ICI Management Development programmes.
