** Shares of Orange Minerals  OMX.AX  rise as much as 25% to
A$0.040, their biggest intraday percentage gain since Nov 17,
2023
    ** Stock hits its highest level since Dec 1, 2023
    ** The copper and gold explorer says it has applied for six
exploration tenements in Western Australia
    ** Says tenements have strong potential for uranium and
rare-earths deposits, along with precious and base metals
    ** About 643,000 shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of around 117,000
    ** Stock down 13.5% YTD, based on last close
