Orchard Funding Group PLC, the finance company which specialises in insurance premium finance and the professions funding market, announces that Steven Hicks, current Independent Non-Executive Director, has been appointed new Independent Chairman effective from the 7 October 2020, the date Mark Sismey-Durrant, the current Independent Chairman, will leave the Board. Steven will continue as a member of the Audit Committee and the Nominations Committee and will be appointed Chairman of the Remuneration Committee from the 7 October 2020.  
Ravi Takhar, CEO stated: "We are delighted to appoint Steven Hicks as our new Chairman. Steven has been working with us as an independent non-executive director since December 2019 and therefore has an in-depth knowledge of our business. Steven also has many years of banking experience and is currently Chair of Board Risk Committee at State Bank of India (UK) Limited. We would also like to thank Mark Sismey-Durrant for his work and support to our business. We wish him the very best for the future."
