Australia's Auroch Minerals eyes best day in 4 months on stake in U.S. lithium project

** Shares of the Australian copper-nickel explorer  AOU.AX 
rise as much as 19.2% to A$0.155, on track for their best day
since Dec 2021 
    ** Auroch Minerals enters deal to acquire an 80% interest in
the Nevada lithium project in the United States from Nevada

    ** Shares hit their highest since April 7 
    ** More than ~4.6 mln shares change hands, as compared with
the 30-day average volume of about 2.3 mln shares  
    ** Stock up 13% this year, as of last close, vs a 2.3%
increase in the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index  .AXJO
