Wall Street's main indexes gained in choppy mid-day trading on Monday as a jump
in megacap growth and technology stocks powered a recovery from early losses on
slowdown worries after China's weak economic data.  .N 
    
    At 13:43 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.37% at
33,887.44. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.23% at 4,289.83 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.36% at 13,093.792.
