In compliance with the UK FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules (5.6.1R) Pan
African notifies the market that the Company's issued ordinary share capital
consists of 1,831,494,763 ordinary shares of 1p each with one voting right per
share. There are no shares held in Treasury.

This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations
by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in,
or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the Disclosure and
Transparency Rules.
