** Shares of Pantera Minerals  PFE.AX  rise as much as 33%
to A$0.125, set for their best session since June 23, if gains
hold 
    ** The mineral exploration co says drilling targeting
manganese started at its Weelarrana manganese project in Western
Australia
    ** Shares hit their highest levels since Oct 19
    ** More than 166,000 shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of about 41,000 shares
    ** Stock down ~51.8% this year, as of last close
