Transaction in own shares

Paragon Banking Group PLC (the "Company") announces that it has purchased the
following number of its ordinary shares of £1.00 each through UBS AG London
Branch ("UBS"). The share buyback programme of up to £40m, announced on 8
June 2021, has now concluded.

 

The further share buyback programme of up to £50m, announced by the Company
on 7 December 2021, will commence at the beginning of January 2022.

 Number of ordinary £1.00 shares purchased:     13,054

 Highest price paid per share:                  556.00p

 Lowest price paid per share:                   550.00p

 Volume weighted average price paid per share:  552.8300p

 

Following the purchase of these shares, the Company holds 403,454 of its
ordinary shares in treasury and has 250,017,438 ordinary shares in issue
(excluding treasury shares).  This figure 250,017,438 represents the total
voting rights in the Company and may be used by shareholders as the
denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are
required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the
Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules.
