** Shares of gold and copper explorer Paterson Resources
 PSL.AX  climb as much as 6.3% to A$0.034, mark their biggest
intraday pct gain since Sept 1  
    ** Co says it has intercepted gold mineralization over a
band of 750 meters at the co's Grace project in Western

    ** Shares hit their highest levels since Oct 5 
    ** About 1.1 mln shares change hands, as compared with the
30-day average volume of ~342,248 shares  
    ** As of last close, stock down 11.11% this year, compared
with a 9.2% decrease in the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index  .AXJO
