March 12 (Reuters) - Wall Street's major indexes fell over 1% on Thursday, with financial stocks taking a blow, as a surge in oil prices toward $100 a barrel rekindled inflation fears and investors kept a close watch on mounting jitters in the private credit sector.  .N

At  13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 1.23% at 46,834.99. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 1.16% at 6,696.97, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 1.39% at 22,399.89.
