Transaction in Own Shares

 

Pearson plc (the Company) announces today it has purchased the following
number of its ordinary shares of 25 pence each on the London Stock Exchange
from Citigroup Global Markets Limited.

Aggregate number of ordinary shares of 25 pence each
purchased:
373,659

 

Lowest price paid per
share:
1,034.00p

 

Highest price paid per
share:
1,042.50p

 

Average price paid per
share:
1,039.00p

 

The Company will cancel the purchased shares.

 

These purchases are the last purchases to be made under the programme between
the Company, on the one hand, and Citigroup Global Markets Limited, on the
other hand, announced on 1 March 2024, as that programme has been completed in
accordance with its terms.
