Transaction in Own Shares

 

Pearson plc (the Company) announces today it has purchased the following
number of its ordinary shares of 25 pence each on the London Stock Exchange
from Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc.

 

 Date of purchase:                     21 May 2025

 Number of ordinary shares purchased:  2,443

 Highest price paid per share:         1,216.00p

 Lowest price paid per share:          1,212.00p

 Average price paid per share:         1,213.47p

 

The Company will cancel the purchased shares.

 

These share purchases form part of the first £175 million tranche of the
Company's £350 million share buyback programme, details of which were
announced on 18 March 2025.

buyback programme.
