Australia's Antisense Therapeutics hits over 3-year low on discounted placement

** Shares of Antisense Therapeutics  ANP.AX  fall as much as
18.5% to A$0.053, lowest level since May 2020
    ** Biotechnology co says raised A$8.35 mln ($5.69 mln) to
fund its ongoing international phase study of its ATL1102
therapy to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy
    ** Issue price of A$0.05 per share represents a discount of
23.1% to stock's last close on July 13 before it went on a
trading halt
    ** More than 2 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of about 675,000 shares
    ** Stock down 33% this year, as of last close
