** Shares of Perenti PRN.AX rise as much as 4.6% to A$2.51, their highest level since May 23, 2018

** Stock up 2.1% as of 1:30 GMT

** Mining services provider says its underground mining business Barminco received a contract worth A$300 million ($198.51 million) from gold miner Ramelius Resources RMS.AX

** PRN says, four-year contract is for underground mining services at Ramelius' Dalgaranga Gold Project, Western Australia

** PRN is up 78.5% YTD, including the session's moves
