Australia's Perpertual falls on ending deal talks with KKR

** Shares of financial services firm Perpetual  PPT.AX  fall
3.5% to A$22.930
    ** Co announces that it has terminated talks with KKR
 KKR.N  for the A$2.2 billion ($1.78 billion) sale of its wealth
management and corporate trust units
    ** Co adds it was "determined to pursue a sale of the wealth
management business"
    ** Stock on track for steepest intraday pct drop since
December 10, 2024
    ** Stock up 14.7% YTD, including session's moves
