UK Stocks-Factors to watch on June 4 June 4 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Thursday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.50%.
* SHELL: Creditors of Raizen RAIZ4.SA, a joint venture between Shell SHEL.L and Cosan CSAN3.SA, on Wednesday began evaluating the company's final proposal for an out-of-court restructuring agreement to cover approximately 65 billion reais ($12.8 billion) in debt.
* PERSHING SQUARE: Bill Ackman's Pershing Square PSHP.L is looking to sell its stake in Universal Music Group UMG.AS , Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, days after the music industry giant rebuffed the billionaire's takeover proposal.
* CAR REGISTRATIONS: Britain recorded its strongest May for new car registrations since 2019, with sales rising about 7% year-on-year on resilient private buyer demand, according to Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders on Thursday.
* PRICE-GOUGING: The Confederation of British Industry called on Britain's government not to treat business as a cash cow or accuse companies of price-gouging as the country expects to struggle with a cost-of-living shock triggered by the Iran war.
* COMMODITIES: Oil prices fell on Thursday, while gold prices gained, and copper slipped.
* EX-DIVS: Vodafone Group VOD.L, Sage Group SGE.L, Marks & Spencer Group MKS.L, and J Sainsbury SBRY.L will trade without entitlement to its latest dividend pay-out on Thursday.
* FTSE: UK shares declined on Wednesday as hostilities in the Middle East flared up again, sending crude oil prices higher and dampening hopes for a peace deal between the U.S. and Iran.
